Falls Hunger Coalition's food shelf helps families obtain the groceries they cannot afford to purchase on their own. People using food shelves report having to choose between paying for food and paying for utilities and other necessities. Supporting FHC is supporting our community.

15.2% of residents in our Congressional District (#8), needed to use food shelves in 2010.

Are you, or someone you know, having difficulty meeting the basic needs of your family or yourself? Falls Hunger Coalition’s Food Shelf is here to help!

Our food shelf is here to serve individuals and families without food or the resources to buy food.

We offer a three to five day food supply. Clients complete an application for service from Falls Hunger Coalition to assist in determining that their household’s income falls within our guidelines.

Clients are required to show proof of residency by their second visit. The food shelf’s intake specialists update their files on each visit, and the personal shoppers assist clients as they choose the foods they need based on household size. If needed, clients may use our service every 30 days, or sooner with a referral.
